Spring is right around the corner, so they say.

Otten Bros. Garden Center & Landscaping of Long Lake is getting a head start on spring with their Flea Market Under Glass event. This will be held March 3-5, and you will see plenty of fresh ideas and products that you will be able to use for your home and garden this year, such as fairy gardens and terraniums, pansies and the ever popular succulents.

While you’re in the area, stop by Birch’s Restaurant and Bar, which opens daily at 4 PM. Chef-Proprietor Burton Joseph operates this contemporary supper club in the tradition of The Buckhorn. As a matter of fact, Birch’s famous Buckhorn chicken was was listed in the Top 50 Plates  in this February edition of the Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine.

Not only will you enjoy magnificent food, great atmosphere and friendly service, come Thursday night and enjoy the music of Cherbajazz, a versatile jazz group that will have you singing at your seat. On Friday night,  enjoy the magic of Suzanne the Magician, wowing you with some some of the same magic she performs at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.
